Vanessa Hudgens is having to kiss other men - and she hates it! In her new movie “Bandslam,” Vanessa locks lips with costar Gaelan Connell - her first on-screen kiss since her “High School Musical” costar, boyfriend Zac Efron.

“The kissing scene was fine,” she says. “It’s just part of the job. It’s not like the ‘Oh that was so romantic’. In reality it is so awkward.” [Source]

Vanessa Hudgens is a huge fan of horror films - but she can’t watch them when she’s on her own! The actress - who is currently dating her former “High School Musical” costar Zac Efron – says she rarely gets to see her favorite movies now that she’s living alone in her new house.

“I love scary movies but recently, not so much, ” explains Vanessa. “I live by myself now so if I watched a scary film I would not be able to go to sleep. So I need to have someone there with me. I love horror classics like The Exorcist and Poltergeist.” [Source]

Vanessa Hudgens has fun on the cover of the August 2009 issue of Sugar magazine. The 20-year-old actress dished with the mag that she couldn’t stop crying on the last day of “High School Musical.”

She shared, “The last day of HSM was horrible. I couldn’t stop crying. Having to say goodbye to my close friends was so painful.”

But Vanessa would love to work with on-and-off screen boyfriend Zac Efron again. She shared, “Not right now but sometime in the future it would be nice to work together again.”

Vanessa Hudgens still hasn’t seen Alex Pettyfer’s “Beast.” The 20-year-old actress dished to ET, saying, “I’m not sure if I actually kiss him in his beast state. I actually, still to this day, have not seen him in his beast costume because they’re saving it as a surprise for me so the reaction is genuine, so I still don’t know what to expect.”

“It’s great! I mean, I love musicals, I really do,” she told MTV News on the set of her new (non-musical) film, “Beastly.”

Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer look on to another scene in this sneak peek for “Beastly.” A behind-the-scenes look will air exclusively on Entertainment Tonight about the fantasy romance flick. In the movie, a New York teen (Pettyfer) is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love.

Vanessa and Alex have been bonding off the set as well as on. They were spotted getting a bite to eat last weekend. Vanessa had a special visitor this weekend - boyfriend Zac Efron.

Vanessa Hudgens is learning how to kick butt! The “High School Musical” star is gearing up for her role in the highly-anticipated movie “Sucker Punch” – and she’s been aching for it.

“I’m not necessarily scared,” she says. “I am extremely excited. I had my stunt evaluation the other day and it was basically learning how to throw the correct punches and all these kicks and craziness that I never knew how to do. By the end of that day I was going back and forth with someone - kicking, punching, kicking, punching - and then he would have to come back at me and I would have to block it. Then the next day I felt so bad. I have never been so sore in my life. I love it but it was ridiculous.”

Vanessa recently revealed that she’s “stoked” to have landed her action-packed role in “Sucker Punch.”

“I’m so stoked about it,” she said. “I kept telling everyone, ‘I want to do an action film.’ But they were like, ‘Maybe in a few years.’ So I’m like, ‘Ha, in your face. I am doing one now!’” [Source]

Vanessa Hudgens loves getting dressed up. The ‘High School Musical’ actress likes to experiment with fashion and wouldn’t be happy wearing the same outfit day after day.

Vanessa - who works with Hollywood stylist Deborah Waknin - said: “I’ve used her forever and I’m in love with her! She completely gets me, which is really hard, I think. I’m not very typical; I like my own thing. I’m not content with wearing a T-shirt and jeans every day. I love fashion and I love playing with it.”

Vanessa - who is dating her ‘High School Musical’ co-star Zac Efron - describes her style as alternating between “bohemian chic” and “rocker chic”.

She added to Britain’s InStyle magazine: “They all end in chic! When I’m feeling sweet, I’ll throw on the floral clothes. Every now and then, long skirts. Other days, I’ll go for dark colours. I am no label whore and for the most part, I dress myself.” [Source]
