Hudgens explained, “Girls would claw at Zac and, because they were teenagers with a lot of energy, they would chase for a long time. He had some crazy incidents when girls would try to rip his clothes off and he’d leave with claw marks all over him and his clothing in pieces. They were obsessed with the character and who they wanted to see, so I was like, “Go for it!” I know who he actually is inside.” Vanessa then discussed how she used to have to hide from paparazzi.

She added, “That was the s****iest time ever…it was horrible. I just remember hiding out with my mum and sister and there’d be 30 paparazzi sitting outside the house being loud and obnoxious. In Touch reports that with a $5 million nest egg, Vanessa is more financially stable than her beau who is still building a career in the entertainment industry.

“She likes to go on first-class trips, eat at the finest restaurants and hang out at the hottest clubs,” a source told the publication. “So she knows she’s going to be the one to pay for it. She’s in love.”

Vanessa is said to be very happy in the relationship, especially as she can’t stop gushing about how hot Austin is. This is said to be a change from her relationship with Zac Efron, who always settled the bills on their dates. Vanessa made a great income from her time on the “High School Musical” movie franchise.

During the outing, Hudgens donned an outfit consisting of a one-shoulder ruffle top under her dark-colored cardigan, and a pair of white pants. The 23-year-old brunette completed her chic look with a pair of black platform booties and sunglasses.

A couple of days before getting her new haircut, Hudgens attended the premiere of “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.” In the special screening held at UGC Cine Cite Bercy, the former flame of Zac Efron was joined by her co-star Josh Hutcherson.

Hudgens first cut her long locks short last summer to film her new movie “Gimme Shelter.” “I kind of feel like a soccer mom,” she said back then. “There’s nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I’m only 22! I miss [my hair,] believe me, I do, but there’s nothing I can do about it.” [Source]

It was a lot of fun watching you in “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” I can imagine it was fun for you also?
Michael Caine: Oh yes, I was enjoying myself because I’m usually in very serious, or very tough movies, you know? Or very dramatic movies. This was the first time, actually the second time I’ve appeared in a family movie. The first time was in “The Muppets Christmas Carol,” which was a movie I made especially for my daughter who was seven at the time. With my movies, they usually have to wait until they’re sixteen or eighteen to go to see them. I made “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” for her children, my grandchildren, who are three and two. I’m hoping to take them or get the DVD and show them when they get a couple of years older.

How about you Vanessa, what was it like shooting this adventure film “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island?”
Vanessa Hudgens: This was an extremely and incredibly fun movie to make. I knew that it was going to be fun just considering filming in Hawaii and being with such an awesome cast, but I never really actually realized until I got there that this would be this fun in my life. Working with the cast was justphenomenal, Dwayne Johnson was such a big sweet-heart, he’s so much fun and so caring. Luis Guzman became like my second father and was just such a riot to work with, he‘s crazy, every day he’d do improvisation and keep everyone on their toes. Michael Caine, who is an absolute legend, was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, he’s so enthusiastic about work which was really inspiring to see because he’s done so many incredible films and he’s still extremely passionate about what he does. Our director, Brad Peyton, he was amazing, he has such a clear vision and he really knew what he wanted, he had a strong stance on everything and was such a ball of energy it was so much fun.

She says, “I have such a pet peeve, I hate getting my face wet and fully submersing myself under the water, let alone opening my eyes and acting underwater. It aggravates me; the feeling of it.”

And she also found the bugs on the Hawaiian location tough to deal with: “There are centipedes crawling around that were so disgusting and massive with all their little legs. They freaked me out.” [Source]
